O número de tentativas de fraude contra o consumidor bateu recorde para os meses de março: houve uma tentativa de fraude a cada 14,6 segundos no país, segundo a Serasa.
No mês, foram registradas 183.111 tentativas de golpe financeiro com uso de identidade falsa, maior nível desde que a entidade começou a divulgar o indicador, em 2010.
Comparando os dados com fevereiro, houve um aumento de 25,8%. Em relação a março de 2014, o crescimento foi de 17,8%.
Entre as principais tentativas de golpe apontadas pela Serasa está a emissão de cartões de crédito, financiamento de eletrônicos, compra de celulares com documentos falsos, abertura de conta bancária, compra de automóveis e abertura de empresas.
COMO SE PROTEGER:
Entre as dicas de segurança estão a orientação para que os consumidores não forneçam ou confirmem informações pessoais ou número de documentos pelo por telefone, tomando cuidado com promoções ou pesquisas.
A empresa aconselha ainda a não perder de vista seus documentos de identificação quando solicitados para protocolos de ingresso em determinados ambientes ou quaisquer negócios.
Além disso, quando for digitar o número da senha de cartão de débito ou crédito, o consumidor deve ficar atento para que desconhecidos não gravem as informações.
Também não deve informar os números dos seus documentos quando for preencher cupons para participar de sorteios ou promoções de lojas.
